Thailand isn’t usually the first place you think of as being pet friendly. From the bustling streets of Bangkok to the roaming soi dogs, it’s not the first place I’d think of as pet friendly. However, over the past few years there have been a large amount of places that are becoming pet friendly in Thailand. Check out my pages to see the most pet friendly places I’ve hung out at in Bangkok, Koh Samui and Hua Hin.

My experience has been that most places will actually let you in with a dog other than 5* hotels. I found that as long as you are polite and ask before you sit down most places are fine. Usually I will always take a blanket to put over the seat which then allows me to sit at the table with the humans.
The only thing you need to be careful for is the soi dogs. Especially if you are going to beach places there can be a few hanging around. Most are generally friendly and I’ve not really had any problems but it’s worth just being on your guard the whole time.
If you’ve got any places you’d like me to add, let me know in the comments below.
