Singapore

There are so many cool pet friendly places in Singapore. I consider Singapore to be pretty pet friendly overall. There are lots of outdoor places to go for long walks. East Coast Park was by far my favourite. Around Marina Bay area also is a perfect place with stunning views. It’s best to go early morning or around sunset time to avoid the intense heat. Also make sure to bring plenty of water with you.

There are lots of restaurants, cafes and bars that will allow you to sit outdoors with your furry friends. Dempsey Hill, East Coast Park, East Coast Road in particular have a few places that are pet friendly. These areas are popular with expats and dog owners alike.

Dogs aren’t allowed on public transport in Singapore. Cars are also expensive to own there. So taxi’s are the only way for a lot of people to get around. We used to pre book Comfort taxi using their app. We would add in a note to say small dog and always make sure I was in my K9 Sports Sack. Most drivers were fine with this and would take us. Sometimes if the driver was Muslim they would cancel. It was never a problem though as we would just book another.

Wooga Dog offer training, handstripping and boarding along with a few other activites. I first came across them when I was looking for somewhere to stay while my pawrents went overseas. I loved the idea of staying with other Westies and at Wooga they have a big pack of their own, so know how to look after me very well.

I had to go round first to make sure I'd be OK with the other doggos. My pawrents weren't sure I'd pass the test, but everyone loved me! Wooga was my second home in Singapore as my pawrents travelled a lot. I really felt like I was part of the family and was super sad to say goodbye to all of my pals, I miss them very much.

Wooga also offer a variety of training which was super helpful for my pawrents to understand my cheeky behaviours and help iron out some of my naughtiness.

They also made me look super handsome with their amazing handstripping.

I am so thankful to them for introducing me to one of my favourite things, luring. I was soooo good at it too, with my natural instincts kicking in. Even though I did cheat sometimes, I was always up front with the winners.

East Coast Park was my favourite place to go walkies. It was super convenient as we lived closeby so got to go here almost every day. I am such a lucky doggo. There is both a walking track and a cycling track and every day I got to meet many new doggy friends. There is also the beach to go running on and the sea to go swimming in, so many choices of things to do. Some of the restaurants and bars are fine for doggos to sit in too. Starbucks allows you to sit outside and so does Sandbank & Atmosphere Bistro.
Platypus in Katong was one of my most frequently visited bars with the pawrents. Great Happy Hours and deals on throughout the week, even had a beer pong table. A Mexican themed restaurant which was closeby to my house made it very handy. Dogs are allowed to sit outside but bring your own water.
Sentosa is very dog friendly. You can take your dog walking along the beach, swimming in the sea and a few of the restaurants let you take your dog in with you. Tanjong Beach was my favourite as it was the quietest. Some owners let their dogs off leash here even though really it's not allowed.

Coastes Sentosa is one of the beachbars that allows doggos and gives you free water. Great in the day time or the evening for doggo and pawrents.
Chinese Gardens are great fun. Lots of cool places to walk around and check out.

There are many temples and outdoor spaces to sniff around.

It is free to enter but you must be kept on your lead the whole time.
Little Island Brewery was a great find after a cycle around Changi.

It does a great Sunday Roast dinner as you can see from this picture. Do you think I managed to sneak in a bit of beef? I most certainly did!

Free water is provided for doggos and there's plenty of beers & ales for the humans.

You can get the boats nearby to Pulau Ubin too which is another great place to cycle around.

Let me know if I have missed out any other pet friendly places in Singapore to visit. It’s been a couple of years since I lived in Singapore now so hopefully this information is still up to date. Don’t forget to check out these pet friendly hotels if you are looking for a staycation in the city.
