There are plenty of Pet Friendly Hotels in Singapore to choose from. Singapore is becoming more and more pet friendly. There are lots of parks and open spaces that you can go with your furry friends for long walks. There’s also lots of pet friendly cafes and restaurants that allow you to sit and eat with your pets.
Pets aren’t allowed on public transport but it’s quite easy to get taxi’s if you have a smaller pet. Although it’s wise to let them know in advance since there is a large muslim community and some taxi drivers won’t allow pets in the cars.
Unfortunately I didn’t get to go on any staycations when I lived in Singapore, but my buddies at Singapore Westies Club have given me the below recommendations for the perfect places to visit. Given travel is so restricted and Singpaore is so small, petcations are definitley required for both pawrents and doggos alike!
So far I’ve only found 5 star hotels that allow you to visit with your pets. This means that you need pretty deep pockets! But you are certainly guaranteed to be well and truly pampered once you are there. I will continue to research to try to find some more wallet friendly options too.
Capella has great feedback from my fellow Westie buddies and is super pet friendly and the perfect option for those looking to splash out. Rooms don't come cheap at over S$700++ per night but on the plus side there are no extra charges for furry friends and they allow all dogs up to 15kg, maximum 1 per room. They are allowed in all common areas such as the lobby, lawn, exterior except for F&B outlets, the function areas, spa and cascading pools.
Four Seasons provide a doggy bed, food and water bowls as well as having the most friendly staff. One pawrent also said they were given a Westie towel personalised with their name on it. How cool! They allow 1 dog per room up to a maximum of 11.5kg with a one time cleaning charge of S$100 for Deluxe, Boulevard, and Premier Rooms and S$130.00 for Four Seasons Executive Suites and One Bedroom Suite. Pets must be leashed at all times and only allowed in the Garden@One Ninety for eating.
Sofitel Sentosa is currently offering a midweek promotion for stays Monday to Friday which include a pet amenity basket with dog bed and toy included. Applicable only to the Luxury Garden (S$428++ per night) and Villa de Jardin (S$1,968++ per night) rooms from Monday to Thursday. Maximum size of 10kg and must be kept in a carrier or on a leash when in communal areas. Not allowed in any of the restaurants.
Amara Sanctuary awaiting pet policy.
Intercontinental Singapore allow pets if booking a Pawfect Staycation package, although it's currently closed until 31st August 2021. Only applicable to Heritage Rooms or Suites, packages start from S$350 per night which includes a welcome amenity basket, plush pet bed, gourmet treats and an exclusive pet-friendly menu. For humans they get breakfast included, $50 in room dining credits which can be used on pet friendly menu and 20% discount in the F&B outlets. Pets must be leashed or in a carrier at all times and are not allowed in the hotel gym, swimming pool area, Club InterContinental Lounge and restaurants or bar. Max 2 dogs per room (second set of amenities will be charged at $100). An additional fee may be charged if there is any damage or extra cleaning required.
