Gostoso Churrascaria is a pet friendly churrascaria near Roppongi Station in Tokyo. We went here to celebrate my 10th birthday and we had a great time. This is the first churrascaria we had tried in Tokyo and it didn’t disappoint.
The restaurant has a great setting with the front open so it has an indoor/outdoor feel to it. As we visited in September, the weather was still perfect so it gave a great atmosphere. We went on a Monday night so it wasn’t very busy but I’m sure on weekends it would be really great.
I pulled up my stroller to the table and stayed in the stroller during the dinner. But I think it’s possible to sit on the seats as well if you have a blanket/towel to sit on.
Food
The menu is a set course meal with salad, appetisers, 10 kinds of meat and dessert. All of this for ¥5,566. You can have seconds of a couple of the types of meat, but in general it was only one piece of each meat. You can also re order second helpings of the salad. On top of the food menu, there were 3 different levels of nomihdai (all you can drink) option starting from ¥2,420. Of course, you can order drinks a la carte as well.
For dogs there is a separate dog menu as well as a birthday cake option. For the birthday cake, you must order this 2 days in advance to give them time to prepare it. As we went for my birthday we went for the birthday cake option. It was a mix of apple, pumpkin covered with yoghurt on the outside as the icing. As you can see, it was super yummy.
We really enjoyed all of the food. Slightly bigger portions would have been good, but there was definitely enough to fill us up. The course lasts for 100 minutes which is more than enough time to enjoy the full meal.
Conclusion
We loved this pet friendly churrascaria in Tokyo. We felt that it was good value for money and the food was delicious. Next time we come, we’d like to come on a weekend so it would be busier but we still enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere mid week. All of the staff were really lovely and loved dogs as well. Of course any restaurant with a dog menu and birthday cakes is a hit. We’ll definitely be coming back.
