The Jinglin Geordie is a pet friendly bar on the way from Edinburgh Waverley up to the Royal Mile. In a great location you can walk here easily after you arrive at the station. It is up a big flight of steps though so not for the faint hearted!
It’s a more traditional Scottish pub with olde worlde tables and chairs. Perfect for long evenings with a few pints and some delicious bar snacks. We got a seat in the corner so I could relax over a few pints without disturbing the other guests. I am much more well behaved when I am in the corner. When I am on the floor I get nervous of people moving around and bark. So it’s much better when I am tucked away out of sight!
I had an enjoyable evening at the Jinglin Geordie and will definitely come back here again if I am in Edinburgh again. The staff were friendly, the bar had a nice atmosphere and it was in a good location. For other pet friendly places to visit in Scotland check out my post here.
