I stayed at this dog friendly Air BnB when I was checking out Loch Lomond. The flat itself is located in Helensburgh which is a short drive from the Loch itself. The flat is very well equipped and nicely decorated. A lot of care and attention has been put into making the flat a great place to stay.
I stayed for 2 nights but you could easily stay long term as well as it has everything you could need. A nice touch was that there was a welcome pack that included some bread and snacks as well as fresh milk, butter and juice. It had a fully equipped kitchen so you could cook anything you wanted. Right next to a Tesco express as well so super easy to stock up on all your essentials.
The view over the river was lovely, although unfortunately the weather was not so good for us. It would be stunning on a sunny day.
A great location right on the river, there were plenty of green spaces to go for walkies. There were also plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. We went to The Clyde Bar as we found it was dog friendly. What a surprise we got when John, the owner of the Air BnB was also the owner of the bar! So it made sense that both were dog friendly 🙂
I brought my own bed as I do everywhere but John said he could provide one also if needed. How cool is that?! There were also no extra charges for me which always gets a double thumbs up!
Conclusion
I had a great time at this dog friendly Air BnB in Loch Lomond and would definitely come back again if I am in the area. The flat itself was great, it was fully pet friendly and there were no extra charges for me. It definitely gets a full 10/10 from me!
