Dog Dept Sumida River is a pet friendly cafe along the Sumida River in Asakusa. It’s a great place to stop by after a stroll along the river or after visiting Senso-ji Temple. The cafe has great views over the Tokyo Skytree also.
There is a dog shop on the first floor. The cafe is on the second floor. The cafe has it’s own dog menu as well as tasty snacks and drinks for the humans. Dogs are allowed on the seats but you must put a blanket down first. They also have free water and bowls for doggos so it’s a great place to chill out after a walk along the river.
When we visited the humans had some ice cream which was super tasty. I didn’t order anything from the doggy menu as I had just eaten before my walk. But I will for sure come back again and try out some of the yummy looking food.
