Clyde Bar is a dog friendly bar in Helensburgh. I visited here when I was in the area to explore Loch Lomond. It’s a great area to explore and Clyde Bar was the perfect dog friendly place to find to spend a few hours relaxing time after a long days walk.
The bar is owned by the same guy who owned the Air BnB we stayed at! Which we only found out when we walked through the door. It was a pleasant surprise for us as he is super friendly 🙂
There are a large number of tables to sit at as well as a few booths. We got sat at one of the booths which was perfect for us as it means I can remain snug in the corner with my trusty Scoot blanket.
When we arrived about 5pm there were a few locals having drinks. Before we knew it the bar was packed!
There is a big area out the back that has pool tables and this was super popular. There was a good drinks selection available with beers, cider, wine and plenty of spirits. Tennant’s is a Scottish beer and very popular. It’s very yummy but shhhhh don’t tell anyone I tried it 😉
