Back Bar Keswick is a dog friendly bar that we came across whilst looking for somewhere to rest my weary paws. It is located just on the egde of town next to the town car park.
We came to Back Bar Keswick about 4pm so it was a bit too early for dinner. We therefore decided to have just a couple of drinks. Downstairs was the bar and plenty of tables for eating at. They also had a nice fire raging away at one end. There was a big German Shepherd sat next to it though and as you all know they are my nemises. So there was no way I could sit down there. Therefore we ended up going upstairs which was empty when we arrived. There were a few cozy sofas as well as tables to eat at.
It began to fill up quite quickly with plenty of hikers finishing up on their daily walk. We stayed for a couple of drinks here. I made myself very comfy very quickly. As I started to snooze on the sofa, my granny wrapped me up warm with her hat, to keep my big ears warm. Isn’t she kind?
When daddy went back to the bar for the second drinks, my arch nemises had gone. So we moved downstairs and got to sit next to the lovely fireplace. It was so nice to be sat next to the warmth. It made it feel really cosy.
