Just how pet friendly is Asia? I was born in Asia in Singapore. Since then I’ve lived in Thailand and Japan and spend most of my time living between the two. I’ve also spent a couple of weeks in South Korea on a holiday. In Thailand I’ve lived in Koh Samui, Bangkok and Hua Hin. I also got to do a couple of road trips during my life there. In Japan I live in Tokyo and have done road trips to Nagano and soon up to Hokkaido.
Asia still isn’t so pet friendly so moving around isn’t always so easy with a dog. Nevertheless, I’ve still managed to cover a lot of ground. I’ve done a road trip around Southern Thailand, taken the ferry from Koh Samui to Surat Thani. As well as doing a couple of internal flights. Whilst it’s not really possible to fly in cabin in Thailand (with the exception of Nok Air’s random pet flights) internal flights are short so I’ve managed a couple in the hold.
