My New House
We moved from the beautiful island of Koh Samui to the bustling city of Bangkok. I was born and raised in Singapore, so I am used to city life. Whilst I loved Samui for it’s amazing beaches and laidback lifestyle, I am really enjoying being back in amongst the hustle and bustle. My nose has been on high alert from the moment I touched down and I can’t take in all these smells quick enough. But what is it like living in Bangkok with a dog?
My first couple of weeks have been spent settling in to my new environment. The streets around my new house are so cool with lots of things to see and I can even get next to the river in the middle of the city.
I’ve quickly adapted to my new house and it’s so cool as I have a yard outside that I can sniff around in and most importantly get in my sunbathing sessions. Sometimes I even get lost wandering around, and mammy has to come find me.
Of course, I’ve made a few enemies with the neighbours dogs, I just can’t help it, I have to show them who is boss, no matter how big or mean they look. I also made some friends in Carrot the Yorkie and the first Westie I’ve met in my whole 2 years in Thailand, a little cutie called Chico. Turns out we already follow each other on Insta hehe.

Bangkok with a Dog – Friendly Places to go

Pet friendly places Bangkok
I’ve already found 3 dog friendly places I can hang out which makes me so happy. Many people say Bangkok is not dog friendly, but I am happy here. I am even allowed in the taxis with no problem. It’s so much easier than it was in Singapore!
So far I’ve found The Commons & The Fox both in Thonglor & Dog Park 49 which is dedicated to doggos.
I’ve created a list of all the dog friendly places I go to. I will be updating it as I find and explore more. You can see this list here. If you have any to add, please let me know.
Signing off for today, have more sunbathing duties to attend to. Will be back soon with more of my adventures.
